9/11 - We Want The Truth ()

What really happened that tragic day?

Hi all and happy new year.

I've decided to take a bit of time between writing my next best seller to tackle a few conspiracy theories on behalf of LostJonnies. Where better to start than probably the most convincing of them all - What Really Happened on September the 11th 2001? As far as conspiracy theories go this has to be the one that will run and run until a number of disturbing irregularities are cleared up.

The Human Mind ()

It gets the best of all us.

Apparently we only use about 10% of the capacity of our brain. Thats not a lot if you think what we have achieved as a race. Imagine the results and advances in science if we managed to up it to just 20%. Scary.

Sadly, there are times when we appear to not even use the 10% we do know how to use. Take for example all of thirty minutes ago in my bathroom.

Moving with the Times - Gadgets ()

A article for anyone who is a geek

I have always dabbled in things most people can't be bothered to find out exist, let alone how to do it. I was the person who at 18 was buying Ex Army CCTV equipment, Ex GPO Telephone equipment on Ebay instead of platform shoes, wigs and going out drinking all night.

One of my treasured buys was a dusty old Linesman Handset. It is a big old box containing a old telephone and crocodile clips for clamping onto the telephone lines.

Teacher's pay ()

In response to the NUT strike

Aren't you sick of all those high paid teachers?

Their hefty salaries are driving up taxes, and they only work nine or ten months a year!
It's time we put things in perspective and pay them for what they do...baby-sit!

Sheep ()

Stag-do's

So, the other day I was out for a stroll with Rich (as you do) casting various dispersions about individuals that will rename nameless (other than the psuedonim Uniform Tango) when Rich mentions that he's off to a mates Stag-do in the summer; nothing strange there you might think, until he mentions the requirement for a Sheep!
Well, at this a distant memory dashes to the fore of my mind from my University days - for those that know me, you will know this will have been deep in my mind. The University was in Wales where it is believed that there are more sheep than people resident.

Anyway, back to the story; well being a university there are halls of residence for the students, some of these being single sex, others mixed sex. Needless to say when the fire alarms rang, the same proportion of boys/girls came out of both single/mixed sex halls (fire alarms going off was a common occurrence).

The Day I wanted a Whiteboard ()

Well I had to write an article sooner or later.

The Day I wanted a Whiteboard:

Recently I walked out of my secure employment with a local taxi firm and started my own taxi company with Mark, my housemate and fellow taxi driver. Figuring having drivers, office and every other business requirement stacked somewhere in our home that it would make sense to be making ourselves money for a change.

LostJohnnies Awards 2007 ()

Things of the year!

2007's been a crazy year. We've seen the rapid growth of the Nintendo Wii as THE games console to have, Britney Spears has went from crazy messed-up bitch to something out of a Richard O'Brien film and Top Gear has went from entertaining car-themed television programme to a circus side-show of incredibly bad hair.

But there's been some good stuff too...
